Taking freedoms in both form and a wide range of inspirations leads to an expansive output of art. Grouping the paintings into three distinct catalogs makes it easier for viewers to explore.

Art for Everyone is textural, original art created often using recycled materials. This art collection is therefore sustainable, more affordable to produce, and priced to be accessible.

The Signature Line reflects paintings that are often larger, and always more time intensive. The backstories and the paintings themselves are layered. There is also a deeper level of introspection and emotion in reflected in these paintings. 

The Studio Shelf provides a place for experimental pieces or one-off paintings. Many are framed and/or ready to hang. Worth exploring for something unique. 

Are the works paintings or are they sculptures? Yes.

Visual and physical texture are an instant acknowledgement of the importance of original art. There is an authenticity that feels important in today’s world.

The textural nature of my art is reflective of layers and time. Many of the current pieces have 8-10 layers that include acrylic paint, clay, wire, mica, acrylic ink, concentrated pigments, and resin.

As noted many of the current  collections, each of the paintings has material culled from one or more other paintings in the series. 

Art sparks something in the brain and/or the heart. The right art helps people reflect, feel, think, remember… These paintings are way to visually connect to something deeper.

Meaningful, original art is a daily opportunity for joy, reflection, and conversations. Many of the AF : FA paintings in The Signature Line come with prompts for reflection or conversation. It’s whatever you make of it.
